35+ Municipalities
450.000+ requests
300.000+ Citizens
state of the art
FIxMyCity is a web application through which it is possible for citizens to submit requests electronically and the simultaneous management of these requests by the respective services of the municipality. The application is fully customizable, has a multitude of user levels and can be adapted to any workflow a municipality has.
The system
The system includes the following subsystems:
Citizens subsystem
The subsystem consists of an App for smart mobile devices (smartphones, tablets), which is available free of charge in Android, iOS and Windows Phone versions through the respective Application Stores.
Citizens can install the app on their device and use it to report damages or problems at the locations they wish.
In addition, this citizen subsystem has a desktop version for the case that the citizen wishes to report a fault or problem from his/her personal computer and not in real time.
Management Subsystem
Through the management subsystem, all user and fault level management tasks are performed. Specifically, the following features are provided:
User Management
The subsystem enables the administrator to create users (either administrators like himself, or simply request management users) and assign them the specific permissions of each user category. In each user group the administrator can enter an unlimited number of users. Users can be modified by the administrator, depending on the needs of the municipality.
Management of Citizens’ Requests
This subsystem is used to manage requests submitted by citizens through the citizen subsystem. The subsystem can group requests into categories, depending on their processing phase. For this purpose, there is a) the list of unprocessed requests, b) the list of pending requests and c) the list of processed requests.
The subsystem is fully parametric. Therefore, it enables the administrator to create a request category (e.g. cleaning or playgrounds, or roads, or sidewalks, or manholes, etc.) and then define, for each request category, all possible events (e.g. broken bin, full bin, etc.). Thus, the citizen can choose the category of request and event from ready-made lists created by the administrator, without the intervention of our company. The administrator can enter an infinite number of request categories and an infinite number of events per category.
